GET READY FOR THE NIGHT RIDE
The Night Ride is back with a lot of exciting additions for this year. You'd better start working on your costume early because the prizes we have are worth dressing up for. The ride will leave from the parking lot of the Portland Train Station at 9pm.
There's nothing else quite like it. The Night Ride is a great opportunity to see the city at night, by moonlight, while riding in support of the Bicycle Transportation Alliance! This howl-at-the-moon annual tradition is not to be missed.
COSTUME CONTEST
Dress up yourself and your bike and get ready to strut your stuff. We have over $20,000 in giveaways and prizes. All riders will go home with free Tireflys wheel lights, glow necklaces and a belly full of doughnuts, but only the most creative of the bunch will be eligible for top prizes. Check in at the Judges Tent between 8:00 and 8:30 to vie for great prizes including four pairs of Amtrak tickets, passes to the Hottest Day of the Year Ride and Filmed by Bike DVDs.
NEW MOVIE REST STOP
As the course winds along Willamette Blvd. in North Portland, you'll find yourself suddenly in the midst of a huge outdoor movie theater. We're showing a special screening of bike-themed movie shorts from the Filmed by Bike film festival. This Portland-based festival features short movies from around the world. We'll be showing some of the festival's top cuts including a fast-paced chase movie set on the streets of London, a daredevil film of bike stunts, a time travel love story and an animated feature on NYC bike messengers. And yes, of course, there will be fresh popped-on-site bags of popcorn.
YUMMIES AND GIVEAWAYS
This ride is all about nighttime indulgences We'll make sure your bike is well lit with glow necklaces for you and Tirefly wheel lights for your bike. We've got plenty of popcorn at the movie and enough candy at the disco party rest stop to keep you revved up all night. And back at the train station, we'll round things out with an all-you-can-eat doughnut finish line feast. Can't decide between a cruller and a maple frosted, a powdered sugar and sprinkle? Don't worry, tonight you can have them all.
PRE-RIDE PARTY
Avoid long lines on the night of the ride by coming to the pre-ride party on Friday, July 6. This event is an opportunity to check in for the ride, enjoy some snacks and relax with a beer (no host) while meeting other riders. The party is at the Lucky Lab Brew Hall (NW 19th and Quimby) from 4-7 pm. You may also register for the ride that night.

River City Bicycles, Bike N' Hike (Beaverton, Hillsboro, Portland, Milwaukie), and all Bike Gallery locations.
The Night Ride is an ORbike member event. If you're an ORbike member, you'll get a $5 discount on online registration, VIP check-in and special giveaways at the event.
You may also register online until midnight on July 5th, or register on the night of the ride. Children being pulled in trailers, riding in bike seats or on trail-alongs are half price.
